Since Marv & Ina are once again off on one of their exciting adventures, this assistant (Jackie) will report on the activities of Rockin' Jokers.

We welcome our new members, some of whom have recently completed the CPSD class and some who have returned to dancing after a few years off.  They are: Tim & Marsha Gresham, Kathy Myers, Dan & Lorraine Buranzon, Ned Moualem, Greg Dorenkamp & Lisa Nordby, Tom Zimmerman and Jim Faltersack.

Long time member, Joann Linafelter, has resigned because she is moving full-time to Maui! We will miss her but we certainly understand the decision and wish her well. She plans to continue dancing in Hawaii.

August & September were busy months!

Of course, many of us enjoyed dancing under the stars at the Ben Lomond Slab dances. Those dances are a very nice tradition!

We have become quite the sportsmen with the BBQ & Croquet party expanding to include Bocce Ball as well as Montana Golf.  Bob Rootsaert won both Croquet and Bocce and was quick to mention that he also won the Big Dice Game at the picnic!  Bob evidently didn't play Montana Golf. JoKay & Kirk Bednar once again did a fine job of hosting the croquet party.

Many Rockin' Jokers danced at the Tapestry Arts Festival Hoedowns over Labor Day Weekend.  Our own Roger Smith, Harold Fleeman and John Flora entertained on Monday to rave reviews and huge crowds.

Hopefully we all absorbed a bit of culture along with the wine and snacks at the Shady Shakespeare performance of "Macbeth".

Rockin' Jokers, Krazy Dazys and Bows & Beaus hosted the Special Wednesday, September 12 Hoedown with Nasser Shukayr and John Flora. What a dancing treat that was!

October is working out to be another month of fun & frivolity.

We are looking forward to the JUBILEE, October 12-14, where Rockin' Jokers will host the Intro Dance on Friday night.

On Saturday, October 20, we will enjoy Bocce Ball & potluck BBQ at Saint Francis Cabrini Church.

And finally, we invite you all to don your costumes and join us at our HALLOWEEN HOooooDOWN on Saturday, October 27 at John Muir Middle School. The highlights will be the Costume Parade, the Split The Pot, the Pies, Pies, Pies, and, of course, Eric Henerlau & John Flora! This event will be ably planned and executed by Marge Elizondo & Ray Bareiss, Joanne Jones and Doug & Jeri Bates.
